Music connects, binds, and explains us

Whenever you think of music, what is the first thing that pops into your head?  Your favorite song or band, right? Me too.  But do we ever think about what our favorite band is talking about in their songs? Do we understand what kind of things that they are putting into our heads? Our children's heads? It can be very worriesome if we just listen to the music, begin to know a song so well that we can sing along, and then find that the things we are singing along to are nothing more then smutty words that sound good together.  Society is so quick to listen to new music and make themselves feel the way the music says they should feel, without even thinking about it, because music has this magical tendancy to just jump right into your head, with no need to think about it at all. It flows almost too naturally.
